Homemade Wipes With All Organic Ingredients

Hello friends and fam! We are really excited about making things at home using essential oils which not only assure quality and 100% organic ingredients being used, but also saves us a lot of $.  

Have you been using wipes for your face or your babies? Ever checked the ingredients on them? No?! Then you should because as per the #CosmeticsDatabase different brands of wipes that we considered safe to use are given a hazard rating depending on the ingredients they use in the manufacturing of their wipes which can be toxic to our skin as well for baby’s sensitive skin. There are safer alternatives as well, but what can be better than making these wipes at your home knowing they won’t do any harm but good to your skin? 🙂 Let’s dig in! 

MATERIALS NEEDED: 

• 1 heavy duty paper towel roll cut in half. 
• Any container to hold the wipes/ You can also use your old wipes container that has gone empty. 
• 1 ½ cup distilled water at room temperature. 
• 1 Tbsp full fresh Aloe vera Gel. 
• 1 Tbsp full Witch Hazel Oil. 
• 1 Tsp Pure Liquid Castile Soap. 
• 1 Tsp full of Sweet Almond Oil. 
• 5 drops of Fractionated Coconut Oil. 
• 5 drops of your favorite essential oil.  

(This is where you can go for an option that defines your purpose best or an essential oil that suits best to your skin. For example, for baby wipes, one can use Lavender or Chamomile whereas for making makeup wipes, we can consider between Frankincense, Lavender, Tea Tree, Wild Orange etc.) This is completely contingent on what suits your skin best 🙂 

DIRECTIONS: 

• Take half of the heavy-duty paper towel and place it in the container folding it into accordion motion one over the other.  
• Mix all the ingredients well, essential oils being the last in the row and pour over the folded paper towels in the container.  
• Close it and let the towels absorb the mixture for 10-15 minutes. After that flip the container upside down so that all the mixture is applied to the towels equally.
